The other night I was heading to a friends place, and as I wandered through my mind I suddenly realised I had missed the turn off, adding a few unwelcome minutes to the drive.
This was a reminder that distractions will always rob (or delay) us from reaching our intended destination.
There is always a cost to the pursuit of a dream. Saying ‘yes’ to the dream will always require a ‘no’ to something else. But not everyone is willing to pay the price:
‘It is pleasant to see dreams come true, but fools refuse to turn from evil to attain them’ – Proverbs 13:19 (NLT)
Whether it’s an unfolding discovery or a moment of revelation, each of us have been given a God-given sense of purpose and destiny.
But the real question is whether we are willing to pay the price to achieve them!
