Believing Is Seeing

What we believe will have a significant effect on what we see.

It’s because I believe that the engine will start that I turn the key. My belief causes me to see what I first believed.

Passively waiting for God to do something is as futile as waiting for the engine to start without turning the key. Instead of waiting around to see if God will do something, God calls us to believe first. It’s as we turn the keys of belief that we see the power of God released.

When a Roman officer asked Jesus to heal his servant, Jesus responded to his belief:

‘Then Jesus said… “Go back home. Because you believed, it has happened.” And the young servant was healed that same hour’ – Matthew 8:13 (NLT)

Before the Roman officer saw, he believed. It was because he believed that he saw.

What is it in your life that you want to see? What area of your life do you need the hand of God to move in?

What are the lies that you believe about yourself, God and the world around you? Because the lies you have believed in the past have determined what you see today.

As you align your heart and mind with the truth of God’s promises and choose to believe in and act on them, you will see for yourself that believing is truly seeing!
