Curse to A Blessing

With God, what was intended to curse you will turn out to bless you!

This was the case with the king and the prophet:

King Balak hired the prophet Balaam to curse the Israelites, God’s own people. But that night, God told Balaam, “Do not go with them. You are not to curse these people, for they have been blessed!” – Numbers 22:12 (NLT)

But despite the prophet’s refusal, the king persisted, so with God’s permission Balaam went. But when he arrived rather than cursing God’s people, he blessed them. This infuriated the king:

‘Then King Balak demanded of Balaam, “What have you done to me? I brought you to curse my enemies. Instead, you have blessed them!” (23:11)

In that moment, what was intended as a curse was turned into a blessing:

“But the Lord your God refused to listen to Balaam. He turned the intended curse into a blessing because the Lord your God loves you.” – Deuteronomy 23:5 (NLT)

No matter how many ‘curses’ have been spoken over you, with God, each one can be turned into a blessing.

Every word that has broken your heart, every lie you have believed, every ill-intended scheme of the devil can be turned around so profoundly that God will bring about a blessing in your life!

Make your decision to longer live under the curse of the past, but take hold of the One who holds the blessings of your future!
